The company said the revised method more closely matches other platforms. The platform has recommended to check their listings and update the measurements by hand when needed, causing user dissatisfaction. Measurement Approach Changes Previously, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10. The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10. For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18. User Experiences One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder". "Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes. Another user, located in Scotland, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as size 20–22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she stated. Necessary Adjustments Another shopper, from Derby, said she had been left angered because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item". "This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she explained.
